New WirelessDMS Guided Profling™ Feature

Following on from the Guided Search™ feature introduced recently, we are proud to launch Guided Profiling. This feature, initially for iPad, allows incredibly rapid profiling and upload of new documents from the device into a DM library with just a few taps. New WirelessDMS Guided Search™ Feature

Guided Searches are a new feature in WirelessDMS native OS clients for the iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry. Guided Searches are a new way of allowing users to find documents by metadata browsing with only a few taps while also keeping network traffic to a minimum for performance and cost reasons. Using this feature, a DM administrator can provide users with searches like "My Matters" or "Recent Projects" using SQL queries to display relevant items only to the user (if desired). Since the administrator has full control of the querie, the Guided Searches can even be populated with data from other database tables, views or even other systems (e.g. time tracking).

WirelessDMS for Playbook

In conjunction with ILTA 2011, Matrix Logic will be releasing updates to its Wireless DMS Portfolio of products. A Playbook client and updates to the Blackberry, iPad, IPhone and Microbrowser modules will be included. The enhanced functionality provides the ability to check in documents as versions. New Smart Folders provides browsable access to content in eDOCS repositories.

This first ECM solution for the iPad was available on the App Store simultaneously with the launch of the iPad! WirelessDMS for iPad from Matrix Logic is a client for OpenText eDOCS DM for the Apple iPad. The iPad client is available as a free downloadable app on the Apple App Store. With the purchase of the corresponding WirelessDMS server component iPad users can now access content from their corporate eDOCS DM repositories via the 3G network or a WiFi connection over http or https.New version 1.5 with improved features!
